It is the memorial week for the September 11 attacks. I had to hold back tears as I read some stories in the paper. One woman rushed home to hear a message from her husband on the answering machine saying that he's fine, it was the other building. She then turned on the tv as the second building was hit and then collapsed. How do you deal with something like that? How do you deal with the fact that so many families lost fathers, mothers, sons and daughters so senselessly.
It's been a year and even here in Vancouver, so far away, I can feel their pain, though I could not possible know it.
