Vancouver, London, Montpellier
I can't believe one week (14%) has already gone by!
We've spent three days in London and are now in Montpellier. England looks very green from the air. I think you need 5 days to really appreciate the city: we only saw the British Museum, Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London, and walked by the other sights, but it was enough. If we have time at the end of the trip, we'll return to spend more time at the museums.
We walked by Buckingham Palace, and spent a lot of time walking along the south bank. We only had an hour for each of the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Science museum, which is only enough time to get a taste of them and say they are definitely worth returning to. They are huge and amazing.
Of course Pete had to spend some time in the pubs. Black Friars is packed with black suits, the uniform of all office workers in London, as are most bars to the point where they are spilling out onto the streets.
